London, Thursday 10 November 2022: In celebration of Christmas 2022, two of the world’s most iconic family brands, The Ritz London and Hamleys, The Finest Toy Shop in the World, today announced a magical Christmas partnership in their mission to spread joy and magic to families this festive season.

Guaranteed to make Christmas memories that last a lifetime, the Hamleys elves are heading to Piccadilly for The Hamleys x Ritz London Christmas Grotto. The exclusive Hamleys x Ritz London Christmas Grotto will take place from 8 am to 8 pm in The Royal Suite at The Ritz London on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December.

The enchanting experience begins on arrival at The Ritz, where guests will be greeted by one of Hamleys’ Elves before being escorted by a Ritz Page Boy to the hotel’s Royal Suite, sprinkled with sparkle and transformed into the spectacular Christmas Grotto. The journey continues with Santa’s delicious hot chocolate, which is guaranteed to have families in the festive spirit. Children will have the chance to talk about Christmas with their house elf, check for their name on the ‘Nice List’, and participate in jolly fun and games before meeting with the man himself, Santa Claus. Every child will depart with a personalised gift to ensure the magic continues at home.

The spectacular Christmas Grotto will also open on 2nd December in proud collaboration with Great Ormond Street Hospital, offering exclusive Santa sessions for children under GOSH’s care.

The Hamleys x Ritz London Christmas Grotto is strictly by appointment only and has sold out. The 30-minute experience costs £ 250 for a maximum of six people, including at least one adult per appointment. Reservations open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday 15th November.
