London, January 2019: The Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant presents Live at The Ritz, a fabulous evening of dinner, dancing, and live music every Friday and Saturday. New for 2019, Live at The Ritz is proud to introduce The London Dance Orchestra’s weekly residency each Friday night.

Under the direction of acclaimed Musical Director Robin Harris, The London Dance Orchestra is one of the UK’s most respected swing dance bands, entertaining audiences with an imaginative interpretation of the American Songbook and masterful recreations of the epic sounds from the big band era during the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Renowned vocalist Iain Mackenzie (the principal vocalist at Ronnie Scott’s) will sing most Friday evenings in the acclaimed Ritz Restaurant, accompanied by a swinging rhythm section and horn frontline.

The Ritz Restaurant is one of the few venues in the city to offer a classic combination of Michelin-starred cuisine and live entertainment. From January 2019, Friday evening guests at Live at The Ritz can enjoy a candlelit four-course menu prepared by Executive Chef John Williams MBE and his brigade, accompanied by toe-tapping rhythms, soaring melodies, and honey-toned crooner vocals from The London Dance Orchestra. Spectacular professional dance performances punctuate the evening, guaranteeing to get everyone up on the dance floor!

The London Dance Orchestra began life in Wilton’s Music Hall in Whitechapel, London, and was quickly acknowledged for its ability to execute a style of rhythmic playing that supported the dancers on the floor and has kept the band highly in demand ever since. The musicians have performed with an exceptional selection of talented artists, including Van Morrison, Tom Jones, Emeli Sandé, Jools Holland, Bryan Ferry, Paloma Faith, and more.

Live at The Ritz is a set four-course dinner menu with live entertainment and dancing, priced at £110 per person on Fridays and £125 per person on Saturdays (inclusive of all entertainment). An à la carte menu is also available with an additional entertainment charge of £35 per person.
